Client: IndyKids, a nonprofit that aims to engage kids in journalism, and thereby empower the next generation of critical thinkers, community leaders, and activists.
f & g • Details from a book illustrated for Amplify Education’s Spanish-language curriculum, in which we meet a young boy who is enchanted by the giant cactus in his Arizona backyard. Jaime y el Cactus Gigante celebrates Jaime’s sense of wonder & curiosity at the interconnectedness of nature all around him—like the cactus whose flowers blossom into fruits in the summertime to feed the birds.
